You are not alone

Losing teeth is more common than you think, especially after 30 and 40

“I'm 30 and missing teeth”, “I'm 40 and I have no teeth” – we hear this often. Tooth loss has many causes (genetics, periodontal disease, injuries, earlier treatment) and it does not discriminate by age. It is not a reason to feel ashamed, but a reason to act.

You avoid hard foods You choose soft food because biting is difficult.
You are embarrassed to smile You cover your mouth in photos or avoid smiling broadly.
Your denture bothers you It moves, rubs or falls out at the wrong moment.
You feel older than you are Missing teeth change your facial features and your self-confidence.

If you recognise even one of these, there is a solution.

    Worth knowing

A missing tooth is not just about appearance – whether you are missing front teeth or molars

Over time, the empty space left by a tooth affects the remaining teeth, the bone and the bite, and one problem often leads to another. These are natural processes; how fast and how severely they progress differs from person to person.

    1
A gap appears Losing a tooth leaves an empty space.
    2
Teeth shift The neighbouring teeth tilt towards the gap, and the opposing tooth may over-erupt.
    3
The bite changes The distribution of chewing forces changes; after losing a molar, the load on the remaining teeth increases.
    4
The bone recedes Without the load from a root, the bony ridge around the gap gradually shrinks.

This is general information, not an assessment of your case. We will check exactly what is happening in your mouth and what to do about it at a consultation with a 3D scan.

“I'm embarrassed to smile, my jaw hurts and eating is difficult.”

Your life doesn't have to be like this!

    Options

A solution tailored to your missing teeth

Modern dentistry makes it possible to restore one tooth, several or all of your teeth. These are the options we most often discuss with patients.

    One missing tooth

    Single-tooth implant

Restores the missing tooth without grinding down the neighbouring ones. It looks and works like your own tooth.

    Several missing teeth

    Implant-supported bridge

Replaces several teeth at once, supported by implants instead of a removable denture.

    Many or all teeth missing

    Fixed teeth on implants

A full-arch restoration supported by several implants – a fixed alternative to a complete denture.

Which solution is best depends on your bone, your remaining teeth and your expectations – we will assess this at a consultation with a 3D scan.

Change the way you live with missing teeth

Stop hiding your smile and choosing only soft foods. Restore your teeth in a way that suits you, and get back to biting, speaking and laughing without feeling self-conscious.

    I want my smile back

Start with a short quiz or a conversation – no obligation.

    But surely...

“It's only one tooth.” “I'm managing somehow.” “It's normal at my age.” “I'll deal with it later.”

These thoughts are completely understandable – it is easier to put off a decision than to face it. The trouble is that they are usually what leaves a gap in place for years: you get used to chewing on one side, covering your smile and avoiding photos. Not because it has to be that way, but because “later” rarely comes.

It is not about deciding on treatment straight away. It is about finally finding out what your situation really looks like.

    Who will treat you

    Dr Adrian Kiepuszewski

Hello, my name is Adrian Kiepuszewski and I will guide you through the whole process, from your first consultation and the procedure itself to aftercare once treatment is finished. You are not dealing with an anonymous company, but with a specific dentist who will take care of your case.

My day-to-day work is comprehensive smile makeovers, combining clear aligner orthodontics, implantology, prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. Most of my work involves implant restorations, including for patients missing many or all of their teeth, as well as veneers and aligner treatment.

I draw up every treatment plan individually, taking into account the aesthetics of your face, your bite and what matters most to you. I use digital diagnostics and smile design, so I can show you the expected result before treatment even begins.

If you are missing teeth and do not know where to start, just come in for a consultation. We will calmly look at your situation and work out together what can realistically be done.

Are you ready to replace a missing tooth?

    A short, honest self-assessment – no pressure.

It is a good time if:

    • You are missing one or more teeth and it bothers you.
    • You avoid hard foods or chew on one side.
    • You hide your smile in photos and when talking.
    • You have had enough of a loose or uncomfortable denture.
    • You finally want to know your real options.

    Hold off if:

    • You are hoping for a ready-made plan without a visit – this cannot be assessed remotely.
    • You expect a guaranteed result up front, without an examination of your teeth.
    • You are not ready for any treatment yet – and that is fine too.
    The first step

At the consultation we carry out diagnostics, show you the options and agree a plan together. No obligation.

    Frequently asked questions

What patients with missing teeth ask us

Do implants make sense at my age (30, 40+)?
Yes – missing teeth affect people in their 30s and 40s too, and age in itself is not a contraindication. What matters is your general health and the condition of your bone, which we assess at a consultation with a 3D scan.
What happens if I do not replace a missing tooth?
The empty space left by a tooth does not stay neutral over time: the neighbouring teeth may tilt towards it, the opposing tooth may over-erupt and the bone around the gap may recede. These are natural processes that vary from person to person; assessing them is a job for the dentist.
Is one missing molar a problem?
Molars carry most of the chewing force, so losing one can overload the remaining teeth and change the way you bite. That is why even a single gap at the side is worth getting checked.
Can you live without teeth for a long time?
You can, but over time missing teeth affect chewing, nutrition, speech, the bone and your facial features, and often your comfort and self-confidence too. Modern dentistry offers solutions however many teeth are missing, from a single implant to fixed teeth on implants.
What can a missing tooth be replaced with?
The options most often considered are an implant (which restores the tooth without touching the neighbouring ones), a bridge or a denture. Each solution has different indications, and the choice depends on your situation; we decide on it together at the consultation.
I have no teeth at all – what next?
When all the teeth are missing, options include dentures and fixed teeth supported by several implants. The first step is a consultation with a 3D scan, which shows the condition of your bone and what is realistically possible.
Do missing teeth always need an implant?
Not always. Depending on the situation, we consider different solutions and tailor them to each patient.
    Does the procedure hurt?
We carry out the procedure under local anaesthetic. Modern techniques and pain-relief protocols keep discomfort after the procedure to a minimum. We discuss aftercare advice with each patient individually.
How much does dental restoration cost?
It depends on the scope: one implant costs one thing, a full restoration another. We agree the plan and the price at the consultation. 0% instalments are available.

Made it this far? And still hesitating?

That means this matters to you. Before you close this page, ask yourself a few questions – and answer honestly.

?What if one consultation is all it takes...

...to finally find out what can realistically be done with your teeth? How much peace of mind would knowing bring, instead of guessing?

?What if one procedure is all it takes...

...for you to chew on both sides again and stop choosing only soft foods? How much would that change every meal you eat?

?What if one decision is all it takes...

...to stop covering your mouth in photos and smile without thinking twice? How much longer do you want to wait?
